The Center for Sexuality and Religion www.ctrsr.org CSR is as an educational, interfaith, and interdisciplinary organization that assists communities of faith promote sexual and spiritual health. We offer a proactive approach that will allow religious institutions to address sexuality issues in an environment where they can - with the help of a mentor - focus on various aspects of sexuality. CSR is working to help religious systems educate, support, and validate trained members of the faith community in the issues of sexuality throughout their entire life cycle. Religious Institute on Sexual Morality, Justice and Healing www.religiousinstitute.org The Religious Institute on Sexual Morality, Justice and Healing promotes the goals and vision of the Religious Declaration. Founded in 2001, it is an ecumenical, interfaith organization dedicated to advocating for sexual health, education, and justice in faith communities and society. Interfaith Sexual Trauma Institute www.csbsju.edu/isti/ The Institute promotes the prevention of sexual abuse, exploitation, and harassment through research, education, and publication. In areas of sexuality, it offers leadership, gives voice, and facilitates healing to survivors, communities of faith, and offenders, as well as those who care for them. "Men Can Stop Rape" www.mencanstoprape.org "Men Can Stop Rape" (formerly Men's Rape Prevention Project) empowers male youth and the institutions that serve them to work as allies with women in preventing rape and other forms of men's violence. The Coalition founders were clergy and lay leaders from mainstream religions, many of whom had provided women with referrals to safe abortion services before the Supreme Court legalized abortion in Roe v. Wade. The founders believed that there would be at most a ten-year struggle to secure the right to choose. In fact the struggle is far from over. It has changed and intensified, and the stakes are growing. |
